Sydney Law School aims to help all Canadian students who are studying remotely

We all know COVID has put a kink in how students learn. While many have found remote learning to be a breeze, some find it to be a bit more of a challenge. To support their students as much as possible, the University of Sydney offers a range of resources to help with studying law from home, including their new Academic Connect Program.

Sydney Law School Academic Connect Program

In this program, law school academics are hosting regional Zoom sessions for remoted and offshore LLB and JD students, including those in Canada. These sessions offer a group setting to provide an opportunity for social connection between the students where they can discuss and share common challenges.

The program aims to recognize the unique challenges faced by remote and offshore students in maintaining a sense of community, accessing social events, and engaging with online teaching and assessment in a different time zone.

Sydney Law School Dean Simon Bronitt hosts the North American group, and is supported by two Canadian alumni from Vancouver and Calgary.

Sydney Law School Dean’s International Scholarship

Just a reminder that this Sydney Law School Dean’s International Scholarship closes on October 30, 2021 for 2022 admission.
