Study law at Bond University!

In order to help prepare their Canadian students for the NCA exam, Bond Law offers an extracurricular workshop each semester—Canadian Professional Responsibility.
The course includes online seminars, reading lists and sample fact scenarios that introduce students to issues of lawyers’ ethics and professional responsibility, and specifically ethical reasoning in legal practice in the Canadian context. Students cover selected topics including the Federation of Canadian Law Societies, Federation Model Code of Professional, case law arising from this material and to the application of the law of fiduciary obligations to lawyer-client relationships.
The course does not include assigned assessment, but is designed aid students in understanding Canadian Professional Responsibility and assist with preparations for the NCA exams.
Bond Law School also offers four Canadian Law subject. These courses can assist Canadian graduates in preparation for their NCA examinations in these areas:

  • Foundations of Canadian Law
  • Canadian Criminal Law
  • Canadian Constitutional Law
  • Canadian Administrative Law

The faculty also be packages their Canadian subjects as a “Graduate Certificate in Canadian Law” able to be taken by Canadian students, whether from Bond or elsewhere, to assist them in preparing for the NCA exams.
