In recognition of the challenges and ongoing uncertainty for international students who cannot travel to Australia for study due to travel restrictions, Griffith University will be providing a 15% scholarship for continuing* students studying from overseas who are not already in receipt of a scholarship in Trimester 1, 2021.

In addition, the university has committed $2,000 per student towards the cost of returning to Australia when this becomes possible.

Griffith continues to work closely with the Queensland Government on a safe arrival plan for international students, both continuing and commencing, and will provide updates as they become available.

Griffith is pleased to offer this COVID-19 Support Package for continuing international students who are studying from outside Australia and looks forward to being able to welcome students back to campus in the future.

*Continuing students are those who commenced their current program prior to 2021 and are enrolled in a program normally delivered on campus.
