Australian Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships

Canadian students about to begin their educational journey in Australia are eligible to apply for the Australian Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships (formerly known as Australian Endeavour Awards), but you’ve only got two weeks left to apply—the application deadline is Monday, June 30, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. (AEST).
The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships are the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program that provides up to $272,500 AUD for study, research or professional development opportunities between Australia and the world. The program build Australia’s reputation for excellence in education, supports the internationalization of the Australian higher education and research sectors, and offers high-achieving individuals opportunities to increase their knowledge and expertise in their field.
The Endeavour Scholarships and Fellowships form part of the Australia Awards initiative established in 2009, which brings together under one banner scholarships offered by the Department of Education (the Department), Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research.

Endeavour Postgraduate Scholarship

Degree: Australian Master’s or PhD
Duration: Up to 2 years for a Masters; up to 4 years for a PhD
Total per semester: $15,000
Total: Up to $272,500 (PhD) and $140,500 (Master’s)
Application deadline: June 30, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. (AEST)
