Australian Optometry Schools in Australia
The University of Melbourne Optometry School offers one of three optometry degrees in Australia. The University of Melbourne Optometry School is the only optometry school in Australia which offers a graduate-entry four-year Doctor of Optometry (OD). Melbourne's Doctor of Optometry leads to the professional qualification as an optometrist. In past years, the University of Melbourne offered a Bachelor of Optometry, and this undergraduate optometry program has been phased out and replaced by the Doctor of Optometry in 2011.
