University of Newcastle Juris Doctor scholarship

Heading to the University of Newcastle Law School? Great news! Canadians are eligible to apply for the Juris Doctor (JD) Scholarship for International Students. Established in 2013, this scholarship will provide up to five students per year with $3,000 for the coursework Juris Doctor (JD) program that will commence in the Law School in this February.

Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this scholarship you must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an International student
  • Be enrolled full time
  • Be enrolled in the Juris Doctor (JD) Program in the Faculty of Business and Law

Required documentation
If documentation is not provided your application will not be processed. Please have all required documents available for upload as PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPEG, or JPG files prior to completing the online application process.

  • A copy of your undergraduate transcript

Selection
Selection of the successful candidate will be on the basis of

  • Grade Point Average
  • English Language Proficiency
  • Performance at Interview

The closing date to apply for this scholarship is Friday, 28 February 2014.
