OzTREKK Orientation at Bond Law School
Welcome to the stunning Gold Coast, OzTREKKers! Those Bond Law School students really are lucky!
On Sunday, January 11, OzTREKK met with the Bond JD students to welcome them to their new environment. A little campus tour, a welcome barbecue, a nice visit to Burleigh, a chance to meet new people—we love hosting the OzTREKK Bond University Orientations!
The campus tour is fantastic as it not only showcases the Bond University campus, but also provides insight into the Bond JD program and expectations, and outlines “local” knowledge so that new students are well prepared for their studies. To make the transition even smoother, former OzTREKK students are always eager to help out with the orientations, and come prepared to answer all of the new students’ questions. Getting firsthand insight from upper-year Canadians about law studies, how the courses are structured, when to hand in assignments, and what life in Australia is like, is fantastic way to jump-start your Australian law school experience!
So we send out a big thank you to those who helped us and lead the tour—you guys never cease to amaze us!
