Step 1: Initial Inquiry & Program Exploration

The first step is always to connect! Whether you call us, send an email, or explore our website, we’re ready to answer your questions.

Discover Your Perfect Program: Our admissions teams will help you explore a vast array of programs. We’ll discuss your academic background and career aspirations to help you find the perfect fit.

Requirements Demystified: We’ve gathered everything you need to know in one place. Explore university-specific GPA expectations, prerequisites, and test scores (MCAT, DAT, UCAT ANZ, ISAT).

Compare with Confidence: Use our Compare Programs feature to weigh tuition, intakes, and locations. We also share Competitive Application Statistics so you can see the scores of students who were accepted.

 

Step 2: Submit Your OzTREKK Application

With OzTREKK, applying is simple. We use one application for all our universities and programs.

The Easy Online App: Our straightforward application takes about 5 minutes. It’s your starting point: who you are, your history, and what you want to study.

Apply Early: Many programs have rolling admissions (first come, first served). Applying early gives us ample time to review your documents and ensures you don’t miss out as spaces fill up.

No Stress: Because the application only comes to us, you don’t have to worry about making a mistake. We’ll reach out after you hit “submit” to walk you through the next steps.

 

Step 3: Gather  Your Documents, Test Scores & Prep

Once you’ve submitted your OzTREKK application, your admissions team will send you a personalized document checklist. This is the time to get your ducks in a row!

myOzTREKK Portal: You’ll gain access to our secure student hub to upload your passport scan, résumé, and any specific supplementary forms.

Official Transcripts: Your school must send your transcripts directly to OzTREKK. We only need one copy of each document, even if you’re applying to multiple universities!

Admissions Test Scores: If your program requires scores from tests like the MCAT, DAT, UCAT ANZ, or ISAT, you’ll arrange for the official score reports to be sent directly to us.

Interview Preparation: Since many programs (especially medicine and dentistry) require interviews, this is the stage to start preparing. We provide resources, tips, and mock interview advice to help you shine in formats like the multi-mini interview (MMI).

 

Step 4: Expert Review & Submission

Once we have your documents and scores, our team meticulously reviews and packages your application(s), then submits it directly to the universities on your behalf.

We Advocate for You: We are your liaison with the universities and keep you updated on admission timelines.

Fees Waived: Most of our university partners waive their application fees for OzTREKK students.

 

Step 5: From Offer to Departure

Congratulations, you got an offer! Now, it’s time to get ready to go.

Accepting Your Place: We’ll help you understand your offer letter, meet any conditions, and guide you through paying your deposit to secure your spot.

Financing Your Dream: Access resources on Canadian provincial student loans and secure money transfer options like Flywire.

Visa & Travel: We provide guidance on what to expect with your student visa, including the “Genuine Student” (GS) requirement. We also help with accommodation, banking, and connecting you with other OzTREKK students!
