New student accommodation at Griffith’s Gold Coast campus

If you’re thinking of studying at Griffith University, we’re happy to share that the university’s Gold Coast campus is set to boast a new student accommodation tower housing 459 new beds with Campus Living Villages onboard for the project.

Construction is set to commence in the first half of 2024 with completion forecast for mid–2026, taking the total number of students living on campus close to 1,000.

The new tower will feature a mix of studio, two-bedroom rooms, and accessible units with a substantial uplift in amenities to benefit all residents which includes a new swimming pool, cinema, and a range of contemporary communal spaces.

The university is committed to offering its students a first-class experience and will continue to work with its existing on-campus partner, Campus Living Villages and other off-campus student accommodation providers to ensure accommodation meets the needs of Griffith students.

Student accommodation specialist Campus Living Villages, built, owns, and operates the existing Griffith University Village since 2006 with the new tower representing the company’s first new build in the Australian market post-COVID.

The new tower will be a landmark building for Campus Living Villages delivering a best-in-class healthy and sustainable building targeting a five-star Green Star rating with a cross-walk to WELL Gold, which will also support community, health and well-being.
