About Melbourne Law School
A “courtroom of the future” is a feature of the Melbourne Law School. It is distinctive in that it is a courtroom designed for teaching advocacy skills. It is equipped with the latest digital video servers for automated recording of court proceedings which may be immediately reviewed by students online to improve their skills.
The Melbourne JD is designed specifically for graduate students. The JD is highly regarded both nationally and internationally. It leads to admission to the legal profession in all Australian jurisdictions and can also be used as a basis for seeking admission in many jurisdictions overseas.
The curriculum for this law program allows you to build the core skills essential to a wide range of legal and professional careers. It also gives you the opportunity to tailor your studies to areas of particular interest through elective subjects.
