You’ll have access to some of the country’s best-equipped facilities, alongside innovative teaching technologies such as MyDispense—a web-based program that combines more than 300 virtual patients and 1,500 pharmacy products to provide authentic dispensing practice.
Monash offers Australia’s first combined Bachelor and Master of Pharmacy, from 2017. Since it’s an undergraduate-entry program, you won’t have to sit separate examinations to apply for entry and there’s no need for a separate application for the master’s. That means you can begin your pathway into pharmacy straight out of high school. And a master’s-level qualification is highly regarded internationally.
Monash Pharmacy students do a one-year paid internship, providing valuable real-world experience! Earn up to $40k AUD while you learn. The fifth year of the course entails a paid internship, so not only do you get valuable work experience required for registration, you also get paid for it.
Casual work available in Melbourne. Many students (both domestic and international) find casual employment at local pharmacies. All international students are permitted to work up to 40 hours every two weeks.
Receive a $4,000 relocation grant. The university offers a grant to all international students who study pharmacy at Monash!
