Set among native bush land and located just minutes from the pristine beaches of the famous Gold Coast, this comprehensive Griffith University campus plays host to more than 16,500 students from all over Australia and the world. Widely acknowledged for its strengths in Health, Griffith’s Gold Coast Campus boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including the Griffith Health Centre, co-located with the Gold Coast University Hospital. Griffith Dental School students can relax at a campus café, and enjoy extensive sporting facilities, including an Olympic-standard athletics track, a gym and basketball and tennis courts. There are many handy services right on campus, such as banking, post, medical, welfare and student guild services.
The university’s new $150-million purpose-built Griffith Health Centre on the Gold Coast campus provides world-class facilities including a 96-chair dental clinic, commercial dental and clinical skills laboratories, high-level IT facilities, and research facilities. Griffith dentistry students develop the knowledge underpinning dental practice and gain extensive practical experience as they work under and alongside qualified oral health professionals in the university’s modern dental clinic and commercial laboratory, and out on community placements.

The Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science offers a new, innovative curriculum where students will receive real clinical exposure from the first year of study, and will work alongside oral health professionals who are world experts in their field.
