University of Queensland International Student Scholarships

The University of Queensland is pleased to announce the 2024 International Student Scholarship suite:

• UQ International Excellence Scholarship (25% tuition fee reduction)
• UQ International High Achievers Scholarship (20% tuition fee reduction)
• UQ Lifelong Learner (10% tuition fee reduction)

The 2024 suite of scholarships includes a key change to the UQ International High Achievers Scholarship with an increase in award value to 20% of the annual tuition fee over the duration of the degree (up from A$10,000 paid over two semesters).

These scholarships are for eligible international students commencing their study at UQ in semesters 1 or 2, 2024. You don’t need to apply for these scholarships—UQ will automatically consider you for a scholarship when OzTREKK submits your complete application to the university.

For the UQ International Excellence Scholarship and UQ International High Achievers Scholarship, the selection of the scholarship recipients is by Scholarship Committee and eligible offer holders will be assessed through scholarship rounds prior to each semester intake. For UQ Lifelong Learner, eligible students are automatically considered and awarded the scholarship.

Please note, some UQ programs are excluded from the scholarship scheme. These programs are listed in the Terms and Conditions listed on the website for each respective scholarship.

UQ International Excellence Scholarship

Scholarship value: 10% reduction in tuition fees per semester
Scholarship duration: For the duration of the program (up to 4 years)
Number awarded: Variable
