Deakin University medical students all set for online studies

This year we are proud to have a great group of Canadian students starting Deakin University’s Doctor of Medicine program. We’ve been working with Deakin University for just over two years now and consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have developed a partnership with this institution and to offer their program options to our students.

At the administrative level, Deakin always appear to be one-step ahead of things and at a philosophical level they hold the same students-first values as OzTREKK.

So, as the COVID-19 epidemic unravels, it is with no surprise to us that Deakin has it all figured out and are setting students up with the resources they need. At this point, Deakin is already operating fully online. They moved into these operations quickly and with confidence, having been accustomed to working with their Cloud Campus.

To ease students into their online studies and to bring some positivity to a difficult situation, they are offering the following online courses.

Learning Online at Deakin is aimed at those new to online studies. It seeks to acquaint them with Deakin’s Cloud Campus and to help them navigate these new processes, such as collaborating with lecturers.

Leading Strategic Innovation: How to lead with purpose, offered through the Deakin Business School in collaboration with Coventry University, is all about bringing innovation to your organization or community, which I think we can all agree is needed now more than ever.
