Sydney Bachelor of Pharmacy graduates
With an unrivalled reputation for excellence, the Sydney Faculty of Pharmacy offers a world-class professional pharmacy program, taught by internationally renowned, award-winning academics that provides students with the ideal preparation for a career in pharmacy.
The Bachelor of Pharmacy is a four-year, full-time professional degree combining advanced scientific investigation with training in clinical practice and optimum patient care. Specifically, it covers the study of the chemical, physical, pharmaceutical, and pharmacological properties of medicinal substances and the application of these in the pharmacy profession.
Students connect with and learn from academics who are experts in their fields, and have access to the latest technology, facilities and teaching laboratories.
The Bachelor of Pharmacy is accredited by the Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) and allows graduates to progress towards registration as a pharmacist in Australia. On completion of this degree, and following the compulsory pre-registration training period required for all candidates (including an Intern Training Program), graduates will be eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia. Once registered, graduates will be able to practice as a professional pharmacist. If you have questions about returning to Canada to practice, please contact Australian Pharmacy Schools Officer Rachel Brady at firstname.lastname@example.org.
