A boy had a speech impediment and couldn’t pronounce the letter R, so his mother took him to a speech pathologist.

The therapist gave him a sentence to practice at home: “Robert gave Richard a rap in the ribs for roasting the rabbit so rare.”
A week later, the boy went back for a follow-up appointment and the therapist asked him to repeat the sentence.
The boy sat up proudly and replied, “Bob gave Dick a poke in the side because he didn’t cook the bunny enough.”
