Bond Law School Commitment Ceremony

26 May 2025

Canadians who join Bond Law School will commence their studies with a special ceremony, the Bond Law Commitment Ceremony, setting the tone for their legal education.

Earlier this year, Bond’s Faculty of Law held the inaugural Student Commitment Ceremony.

Like a medical school’s white coat ceremony, this event is a foundational moment where all new law students collectively dedicate themselves to upholding the legal profession’s standards of ethics, integrity, and commitment to justice. It’s a symbolic yet meaningful step toward becoming a global legal professional.

Upon accepting their offer and enrolling in the Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws programs, they will receive a formal invitation to confirm their attendance. The event requires business attire and is a compulsory milestone for all new students.

At the ceremony, new law students affirmed their commitment to conducting themselves ethically and professionally, acting with integrity, and serving the rule of law and the public good. This commitment will guide them throughout their academic and professional careers.

The ceremony marks an important milestone in your journey toward becoming a global legal professional. It is a demonstration of your dedication to upholding the principles of integrity, fairness, and justice throughout your academic and professional careers.
