University of Sydney opens doors for new students
The University of Sydney will this year open its doors to more than 10,300 new undergraduate students. This includes 6960 offers made yesterday evening and 3380 offers made in earlier rounds.
The university has continued to see strong demand for top-tier courses in business, medicine and law, exemplifying the popularity of Sydney’s leading law school, ranked 13th in the world in the QS World University Rankings.
Arts and engineering courses also continue to be a very popular choice.
The University of Sydney received the highest number of first preferences and overall preferences among applicants in NSW once again this year, a trend that has been continuing for more than a decade.
