Sydney Pharmacy Dean appointed director of Australian Pharmacy Council
Sydney Pharmacy School Professor Iqbal Ramzan has recently been appointment as a new director to the Australian Pharmacy Council Governing Council.
The President of the Australian Pharmacy Council, John Low, recently announced the appointment of four directors to the APC Governing Council.
Council has appointed Professor Nick Shaw and Ms Gayle Ginnane for a further three-year term and Professor Iqbal Ramzan and Ms Monica Schlesinger to commence their 1st term.
APC President John Low said, “The calibre of the applications received reflects the high regard that the profession has for the work of our organisation.”
Professor Ramzan is Dean and Professor of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney, a position he has held since 2006. He is a Past President of the Asian Schools of Pharmacy and is the Director of the Council of Pharmacy Schools – Australia and New Zealand.
Bachelor of Pharmacy Program at Sydney Pharmacy School
The Bachelor of Pharmacy program provides students with the core skills and knowledge required for the effective delivery of pharmaceutical care and the ability to proceed to research.
