Each year, Griffith University offers a generous range of scholarships to support international students in their undergraduate, postgraduate, research and pathway programs.

These scholarships recognize remarkable students with outstanding academic achievements and the potential to make a positive contribution to the university and to the community!

Griffith University is proud to support these outstanding international students with a generous range of scholarships in 2023–24:

International Student Academic Excellence Scholarship

For the Academic Excellence scholarship, you’ll be assessed on your academic results when you submit your admissions application—no other application required! If you meet the scholarship criteria, details will be included in your offer letter.

Griffith Remarkable Scholarship

The Griffith Remarkable Scholarship, which supports students with 50% of tuition fees for the duration of a program, is a highly competitive scholarship and does require an application. Students starting in any of the trimesters are eligible to apply. Once you have your Letter of Offer, apply for the scholarship by the closing date (see below). You will need to include academic records and a personal statement.

Trimester 3, 2023 (November 2023 intake):

  • Application deadline: August 3, 2023
  • Receive outcome by: August 22, 2023

Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship

Like the Griffith Remarkable Scholarship, the Vice Chancellor’s International Scholarship rewards exceptional international students applying for undergraduate and postgraduate coursework degree programs at Griffith. Once you have your Letter of Offer, apply for the scholarship by the closing date (see below). You will need to include academic records and a personal statement.

Trimester 1, 2024 (February 2024 intake):

  • Application deadline: December 2, 2023
  • Receive outcome by: December 20, 2023
