Goodbye, Maggie. Hello, Labour Day!

2 September 2016

Well, the summer is pretty much over.
What’s next? Labour Day, of course! And, as usual, the OzTREKK office will be closed, Monday, Sept. 5.
The end of August/beginning of September usually marks the end of summer, even though we technically have three weeks left for all you Autumnal equinox purists. But the day after Labour Day is nigh, and that means back to school—which also means we’ve lost our fabulous summer student Maggie Mulrooney!

OzTREKK has employed a university student since 2007 to help out with various tasks during the summer months. Summer at OzTREKK is beautiful: gorgeous sunshine, tropical heat waves, vacation days… and many application deadlines! Without our summer student, we would have a tough time keeping up with all of our applicants.

Goodbye, Maggie. Hello, Labour Day!
We’ll miss you, Mags!

So, Maggie was a wizard. She helped with online applications, mail, phones, online submission of University of Queensland , University of Sydney and University of Melbourne apps, generic tasks around the office—including hanging a T.V. on the wall— and keeping everyone in line with her witty remarks!

Thank you, Mags, for all your help this summer. All of us wish you the very best with your nursing studies!

We miss you already!
