OzTREKK is Canada’s leading educational agent with a simple goal: to help Canadian students have the most positive and seamless experience when applying to Australian universities. Our philosophy is to always put our students first, and our team likes to have fun along the way.

The OzTREKK team is made up of intelligent, humble, and thoughtful individuals who will more than likely send you a funny GIF on your first day! We are extremely passionate about helping students make their dreams come true and we are (humbly) amazing at what we do. Being part of the OzTREKK team means that you will laugh, your ideas will always be taken seriously, and you will truly have an opportunity to make an impact in our company.

We’re looking for a Territory Manager to join our remote Recruitment Team for a one-year contract, with a possibility for extension. The ideal candidate will be confident, creative, and excited to talk to others about Australia! We are looking for a positive individual who is keen to bring new ideas to the team. As a Territory Manager you will develop and nurture long-term relationships with a portfolio of partners and stakeholders. These accounts will consist of university student groups, university advisors, and high school advisors.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and manage a wide variety of student recruitment activities, including coordination of presentations (virtually and in-person) for universities and high schools across Canada
  • Establish and maintain relationships with influential student groups and local high school advisors
  • Travel across Canada to host information sessions, attend fairs, and meet with your stakeholders (recruitment travel season is primarily concentrated between September–November; January–April)
  • Create annual territory sales plan to meet territory targets
  • Work closely with our internal Marketing and Admissions teams to ensure that OzTREKK’s exceptional services are top of mind for any students considering education abroad

What you should have

  • 2+ years of sales and account management experience, with a demonstrated track record of success
  • Driven by sales targets and a confident mindset of being able to achieve them
  • Experience in creating sales plans and developing strategic ideas
  • Comfort with public speaking—don’t worry we will help you along the way!
  • Ability to easily create relationships and make others feel comfortable
  • Passion for education and helping students make their dreams come true
  • A strategic mindset and enthusiasm about personal growth
  • Experience with Salesforce/CRM

Serious bonus points if you have

  • Sales experience and training
  • Visited Australia
  • Studied or lived abroad

OzTREKK offers a competitive salary and bonus structure, along with health and dental benefits. The candidate can work remotely from anywhere in Canada, and will be provided with a laptop and cellphone for use during their contract.
