Articulation agreements exist between select Australian universities and Canadian colleges and allow students to complete an undergraduate or a postgraduate degree at an Australian university by receiving credit for their previous studies completed at the college level.
Students who have completed a graduate diploma at a Canadian college may be eligible to receive credit for their studies in a related area toward a master's degree.
The amount of credit granted to students after completing a graduate diploma toward a master's degree varies by university. Some students may only need to undertake one semester of study in Australia to attain a master's degree; however, typically students need to complete one year.
