The University of Sydney offers a two-year, graduate-entry Master of Occupational Therapy program. It is intended for students coming from an undergraduate degree in any field who wish to gain the requirements to become an occupational therapist. As the course leads to eligibility to practice, students will be assisted in achieving prescribed professional competencies through practical and theoretical skill acquisition and clinical fieldwork placements. Clinical placements are undertaken in both the public and private sectors. Students will have the opportunity to develop an understanding of the career path they have chosen, and its place in contemporary health.

University of Sydney’s Master of Physiotherapy
The University of Sydney offers a two year, graduate-entry Master of Physiotherapy program, which is intended for students coming from an undergraduate degree in a related field and who wish to gain the requirements to become a physiotherapist. Coursework throughout this program builds on the major areas of the profession, such as musculoskeletal, cardiopulmonary and neurological physiotherapy, as well as looking at the profession in its societal context.

Dean’s International Graduate Entry Masters Scholarship
This scholarship will awarded to one international student who is commencing a Graduate Entry Masters in the Sydney Faculty of Health Sciences. The scholarship will be awarded based on both academic achievement in the candidates undergraduate degree and a one-page personal statement that describes leadership experience, future career goals and reason for choice of degree.
Eligibility: Open to prospective international students only. Students must commence studies in the next academic year.
Amount Awarded: The scholarship is valued at $6,000 in a one-off payment, awarded to one student.
Closing Date: October 2, 2014
