About Dr Naman
Dr. Benson Naman is a dedicated and passionate dental practitioner who desires to provide the best patient-focused care. His academic journey began with an Honours in Human Health Science at Ontario Tech University in Oshawa as the vice president of a pre-dental club. He eventually made his way to study dentistry at the University of Otago in New Zealand, graduating with Distinction in 2024. For that academic cycle, Dr. Norman had received a scholarship in dental surgery and trained at one of the best dental schools in the world.
Dr. Naman started his career in a small New Zealand rural clinic, working with underserved populations. That experience reinforced for him the necessity of affordable dentistry and his own ethical practice and empathetic principles. He has practiced in Whitby since coming back to Canada, drawn by an equally like-minded staff and population that values trust and empathy.
With his passion for aesthetic dentistry, Dr. Naman is particularly keen on modern smile design, including veneers and digital dentistry. He keeps up to date in Botox, sedation, and cosmetic dentistry with courses across Canada and the U.S.
Dr. Naman is also a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the American Dental Association, and the Ontario Dental Association. He remains updated on new dental technology and patient care trends.
When he isn’t at the clinic, Dr. Naman likes to hike, enjoys being in the water, and plays volleyball. He also enjoys taking photos and videos, has an interest in graphic design, and has a passion for dancing. He now lives in Richmond Hill and was proudly born and raised in Ontario. He also has experience as a medical first responder and a previous teaching assistant position.
