About the Dr. Collins
Originally from Pickering, Ontario, Dr. Jhonna Collins attended the University of Western Ontario for both a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours, specialization in chemical biology, class of 2014), and a 1-year accelerated Master of Science (specialization in microbiology and immunology, class 2015).
In February of 2016, Dr. Collins began her medical degree at The University of Sydney in Sydney, Australia, and graduated January 2020. She has since matched into the internal medicine program at McMaster University where she is PGY-1 IM resident. Dr. Collins successfully wrote all Canadian and American medical residency entrance examinations and applied through both residency matching services in the 2020 match year.
