I graduated from Nipissing University with two degrees: I completed my double major undergraduate degree in English Studies and Religious Studies and have
received my Bachelor of Education.
I absolutely loved my experience at Nip and made some amazing friends along the way!
I have volunteered and worked for Best Buddies Canada, a national charity that helps foster friendships between students with and without special needs in
schools and campuses across Canada.
It was an amazing experience to help create friendships to promote inclusion.
I am married to my high school sweetheart Brandon and have two young adorable children, Caelan and Maeve. We have a dog named Newton and two budgie birds,
Branch Senior and Poppy.
Spending time with family and friends is one of my favourite things to do. I enjoy watching movies too.
I love volunteering! I am a Girl Guide leader for four girl units, ranging from ages 5 to 17. I am also on Parent Council. I enjoy the opportunity to give back to others.
I am a yellow belt in Karate. It takes a lot of focus and dedication but I look forward to this challenge.
I have been fortunate to travel to various parts of Canada, as well as to England, France, Belgium, and the US. I hope to head to Asia and Australia someday.
I love listening to music and singing along.
OzTREKK is a very welcoming environment in which to work. The staff are very student-focused, ensuring that students have support as they apply to study abroad.
“I’m very excited about going to Australia for Veterinary studies. It couldn't have happened without all of OzTREKK’s help.”
