I was raised in a small town named Lyn, just outside of Brockville Ontario. I've also lived in Canmore Alberta,
and the Rocky Mountains hold a special place in my heart!
I studied Tourism and Travel at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, and gained my diploma in 2010. I had always felt drawn
to Australia and once I graduated college, I hopped on the (very long!) plane ride, which ultimately led to Permanent Residency
and five years working, travelling and embracing the Aussie way of life. I can't say enough incredible things about Australia:
the people (my friends!), the food, the diverse landscape and the lifestyle have all shaped my life positively in too many ways
I love to travel and explore new places, near and far! I've driven across Canada and back, ventured to three Caribbean islands,
admired Lake Tahoe and drove the Pacific Coast Highway in California. In Australia, I've travelled in Queensland, throughout NSW,
Tasmania, Uluru, the Great Ocean Road and much more. Next up, possibly Europe?!
I am a sucker for quotes, poetry and second-hand anything! I'm also very passionate about nutrition and all things natural
I love being outdoors - hiking, (trying!) to snowboard, canoeing, camping and soaking in as much vitamin D as much as possible!
My Aussie accent and nickname (Manna!) have long since disappeared; however, I feel extremely fortunate to be part of the team
at OzTREKK, knowing firsthand the unforgettable life-changing experience our students will have during their studies Down Under!
“I’m very excited about going to Australia for Veterinary studies. It couldn't have happened without all of OzTREKK’s help.”
