"OzTREKK was very helpful in laying down a good framework before getting here."
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
OzTREKK was very helpful in laying down a good framework before getting here. I could imagine that I would have been pretty overwhelmed without their help along the way. Their correspondence with me was timely and friendly, and they were always willing to help out.

"...I thought it prepared me very well for Australia."
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
My experience with Oztrekk was amazing. They were very helpful; when I ask a question I get a reply really quickly. The preparation seminar was very good, I thought it prepared me very well for Australia. And the $500 scholarship was sweet.

"Nicole was kind, always offering help, also always patient..."
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
It was amazing! I had Nicole and I doubt I could've done anything without her before I had left for Melbourne. Nicole was kind, always offering help, also always patient with my insane questions (which were more so my mother's insane questions, but I had to call, so I took onus for them.) It was especially Nicole's patience. I remember having to call her so frequently because my mother was freaking out, and had it not been for Nicole, I think my mother would've had a difficult time being eased. So thanks for that Nicole! You really made my parents feel comfortable sending me here. (That's quite an achievement by the way!) Also, she was always there for me. If I had questions about anything, she was always on it and responded quite quickly! I felt like she was dealing with me like a person, not like another application number. That made me feel special.

"There was not one time that I did not receive a answer back."
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
Good. Everytime I sent an email asking a question or something went wrong it was dealt with that day if I didn't send the email too late. There was not one time that I did not receive a answer back. I also felt the orientation was a great way to make my parents feel better about it.

"The service provided is what I always wished to receive from student services at school."
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
OzTREKK was very helpful and very prompt at answering questions. The service provided is what I always wished to receive from student services at school. OzTREKK staff takes the time to answer you well and offer continous help in a friendly manner. I never felt like I would be disturbing Matt or Alison if I popped them an email. The resources were excellent and having pre-departure seminars definitely helped.

"Leading up to departing I enjoyed reading the newsletters to keep me excited about going."
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
It was very helpful, especially the scholarship and the application fee waiver really helped with expenses. The welcome BBQ at UQ when we landed was a great opportunity to meet fellow students and start a social life. Leading up to departing I enjoyed reading the newsletters to keep me excited about going. Any time I had a question the staff was very quick with helpful replies.

"OzTREKK were absolutely one of the most supportive, helpful organizations I have ever dealt with."
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
OzTREKK were absolutely one of the most supportive, helpful organizations I have ever dealt with. I had nothing but good experiences with them. Matt and Beth personally attended to any questions I had by e-mail, both promptly and reassuringly. I felt confident throughout the whole process that they really wanted the experience to be painless, from applications, obtaining necessary documents, right to moving over here, getting from the airport into the city, and finding an apartment and getting settled. I felt so well informed and supported. Another thing that stuck with me was that shortly after I began my program here, I saw Matt and Beth themselves in the Audiology unit at UQ, filming some of the activities that are done for the Speech Pathology students who require extra audiology hours to come back and work in Canada. I was impressed by their commitment to provide Canadian students with the best, most informed background to the program and I have no doubt that each year they will refine and improve the services they provide. After having dealt with the frustrating experience of applying to Canadian and American schools, OzTREKK was an amazing help and I only wish there was a similar organization in place for North American universities!

"But the individuals that helped me were great and so I take my hat off to those staff members who helped me get here. "
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
The website at the time seemed a bit outdated and this was a tiny concern in thinking how OzTREKK was perceived. But the individuals that helped me were great and so I take my hat off to those staff members who helped me get here. They make OzTREKK such a great company. Planning - all questions were answered with "no rush" service. Application process was as easy as it could imaginably get. I was not really involved in any pre-departure process except for the congratulations and general information received via telephone/email. Otherwise, if I were to grade my experience - 8/10.

"...it was a relief to know that there was someone close to home that I could contact with my concerns."
Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
Overall OzTREKK made the application process really easy and convenient. If I ever had any questions my agent was really easy to reach through phone, and whenever she wasn't available, she always called me back shortly after. She was great at keeping me up to date with the status of my application, and answered all of my questions and concerns via email or phone. With UQ being so far from home, and very hard to reach through phone, it was a relief to know that there was someone close to home that I could contact with my concerns. I also found the pre-departure presentation slides and the webinar with Matt quite helpful.

Student Rating of OzTREKK Services:
I KNOW that this may sound like sucking up but my experience with you guys was more than amazing. I would like to thank Shannon for taking care of every detail and being on top of everything even when I was not. I have never received such great help anywhere, not even at the doctor :)... She is a great asset to the OzTREKK team. She must be, if this is how she takes care of her work. Thanks Shannon for all your help. You have made this entire experience an easy one to start. I really am thankful for the stress you relieved with your help. :)
