From Eh to Oz – Predeparture Meet-ups
Every year, we host in-person predeparture get-togethers across Canada, so you can get to know your fellow OzTREKKers before you leave.
Toronto Predeparture Meet-up
Date: November 10, 2023
Time: 6 – 9 p.m.
Vancouver Predeparture Meet-up
Date: November 17, 2023
Time: 5 – 8 p.m.
All students with offers or who have already accepted their offers will receive an official OzTREKK Predeparture Get-together invitation via email with a link to RSVP.
From Eh to Oz – Predeparture Webinar
OzTREKK Director Jaime Notman answered all your predeparture questions… even the ones you didn’t know you needed to ask!
- What you need to know before you go to Australia – Banking, transferring money, health coverage, what to pack, flights, etc.
- When you land – Student cards, mobile phones, tax file numbers, driver’s license, etc.
- Living in Australia – Shopping, gyms, public transportation, must-see places, and student advice.
