From Eh to Oz – Predeparture Meet-ups
Every year, we host in-person predeparture get-togethers across Canada, so you can get to know your fellow OzTREKKers before you leave. These are casual events meant for mingling. We’d love to see you there!

Information Sessions
From Eh to Oz: Predeparture 101
OzTREKK Director Jaime answers all your predeparture questions… even the ones you didn’t know you needed to ask! Here’s what we’ll cover:
- Before You Leave – Banking, transferring money, health coverage, what to pack, flights, etc.
- Once Your Arrive – Student cards, mobile phones, tax file numbers, driver’s license, etc.
- What To Expect – Shopping, gyms, public transportation, must-see places, and student advice.
