If you’re considering studying dentistry, then you know how competitive it is to get into dental school in Canada. But did you know that many Canadians choose to undertake their dental degrees Down Under?
The Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC) recognizes Australian Dental Council (ADC) and Dental Council of New Zealand (DCNZ) accreditation for all general dentistry degrees. This means that graduates of an Australian or New Zealand dental school are eligible to practice in Canada and can follow the same process as graduates of a Canadian dental school.
Because of this, we see many Canadians pursue their dental degree in Australia or New Zealand, so we want to make sure you’re up to speed on the entire process!
