Our Guest Speaker

Born and raised in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Dr. Brett Berezowski completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Saskatchewan, earning a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Pharmacology (Honours) and a Master of Science in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Immunology before deciding to pursue his medical education abroad. Brett was accepted at the University of Queensland and travelled to Australia where he undertook his four-year medical degree. He graduated in 2025 and secured an internship in Australia, working at Cairns Base Hospital, with rotations in the Emergency Department and Sexual Health clinic, before entering the CaRMS match and matching to a Family Medicine residency in Saskatoon. With a comprehensive understanding of both the Australian and Canadian postgraduate training pathways, Dr. Berezowski offers a unique firsthand perspective on how to successfully navigate either pathway.
