I am a graduate of Carleton University with a BA in Communications with a minor in Canadian studies.
I grew up in Almonte, Ontario, the birthplace of the inventor of basketball Dr. James Naismith. (Being tall, I have to
mention basketball, right?) Small-town pride!
Most of my travels have been limited to road tripping to both Canadian coasts and the southern United States. My only trip
outside of North America was to England as a 12-year-old. I would love to travel more to places like Italy, Brazil, Jamaica, and
of course, Australia!
In my spare time I enjoy watching and playing sports such as hockey, football, baseball, and soccer. I usually am in at least
one fantasy league for each! I'm also a die-hard Ottawa Senators fan. I also can binge watch TV with the best of them.
Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, Seinfeld, and The Office are some of my favourites.
I enjoy working at OzTREKK because we provide a great (and free!) resource for students who are interested in studying internationally.
They will receive a completely unique experience studying abroad than just remaining in Canada. Since coming aboard, everyone
I went to school with wishes they knew about this awesome service!
“I would most definitely recommend OzTREKK. It was as if I had a best friend who had already gone and done everything, and always knew exactly what to do.”
