I was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan, then soon after I moved to Canada. Since then, I've had the opportunity to travel and experience
most of Europe, Australia, and Asia. For my previous role as a marketing coordinator, I travelled to Pakistan, India, and
Bangladesh—I stepped out of my comfort zone and I absolutely loved it.
Whenever I can, I like to follow tennis and I'm known to wake up at ridiculous hours to watch Milos Raonic play. In 2015 I watched
the Australia Open live in Melbourne, a great environment and sport to experience when in Australia!
I lived in Gold Coast, Australia for three years while my partner attended Bond Law School. This was one of the
best experiences of my life. During this time, I was fortunate to secure my first position in education at Bond University, which
I immediately fell in love with. I snorkelled the Great Barrier Reef, had great food, but most importantly, I made the greatest
friends that will last a lifetime.
In university I became fascinated with the game theory of poker. I started playing tournaments and live games for some extra
I'm a huge animal lover, so for the past six years I've given a temporary home to animals in need until they find their forever
home! During university, my partner and I fostered and successfully adopted out nine dogs (at separate times) and now we
are fostering two cats in Vancouver.
My favourite director is Quentin Tarantino and I'm obsessed with Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill 2 and Reservoir Dogs.
I'm very excited to join the OzTREKK team in 2016! Everyone is so friendly and all decisions are made by putting the student first.
It's amazing the lengths the staff will go to make sure you are set up to have the best educational experience abroad.
If you live in Western Canada and want to chat about studying in Australia, feel free to send an email my way. I travel
frequently, so I'm sure I'll find an opportunity to meet you in your city!
“OzTREKK is one of our favoured partners/representatives in Canada, and the University of Newcastle would definitely recommend that students make their application through OzTREKK.”
