• With a master's degree in journalism, I have worked in the newspaper industry as well as for OzTREKK.
• I continue to have a handle on all things communications for OzTREKK, and am thrilled to have the opportunity to do so, because I love to hear from students and report on their Australian experiences. Completed your first clinical rotation? Snorkelled on the Great Barrier Reef for the first time? Whether it is about a classroom experience or an unforgettable travel adventure, I want to hear from you!
• My favourite place in Australia has to be Cape Tribulation, which is located north of Cairns, Queensland. While standing on the beach, you have a clear ocean view and the rainforest as your backdrop. It doesn't get any better than that.
• One of my bucket list items is to enter a race in as many countries as possible. I have Australia on that list after completing the Sydney Harbour Bridge Race - what a way to explore the city!
