Macquarie University's Bachelor of Education (Primary) is suitable for students who already hold an undergraduate degree and want to work in primary schools. In this teacher eduation program, students will study curriculum and teaching in primary school, as well as key areas of learning such as mathematics, language, literacy and reading.
This graduate-entry program will lets students build on their existing knowledge to start a teaching or education career focusing on children from Kindergarten to Grade 6.
Macquarie University's Bachelor of Education program includes at least 60 days of supervised practicum in a school setting, with a designated classroom teacher as mentor.

Application Deadline: Although there is no strict application deadline for this program, it is recommended that students apply at least three months prior to the program start date. Doing so will provide students with a sufficient amount of time to complete the assessment and pre-departure process.
