Occupational therapy at the University of Sydney is designed specifically for those who wish to pursue occupational therapy as a clinical degree with a highly regarded focus toward patient-based learning.
Students undertaking a Bachelor of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy are given the opportunity to comprehensively study the field through coursework and academic placements in various clinical settings. At the University of Sydney, a large portion of the occupational therapy program is derived from work placements. Students learn through firsthand experience with established occupational therapists the skills needed to be successful when applying classroom knowledge to direct patient care.
The University of Sydney invites students to apply to the school's FHS Abroad program, which gives eligible students the invaluable experience of academic training and work placement with non-profit organizations operating in south and southeast Asia.
Every student who applies (and accepts) via OzTREKK and commences his/her studies at an OzTREKK Australian university will receive a $500 scholarship from OzTREKK.
