Step 1
Complete the university application form
Please complete a University of Melbourne
"Application for Admission as an International Graduate Student".
Apply Online or Download a Paper Application.
For the Melbourne OD, you are also asked to submit a personal statement (maximum 500 words) to support your application. Please contact Christine Chu at OzTREKK (christine@oztrekk.com) for guidance about what to include in your personal statement.
OzTREKK Scholarship
Each and every student who applies directly, and accepts their offer, via OzTREKK and commences their studies at an OzTREKK Australian university will receive a $500 scholarship from OzTREKK.

Step 2
Obtain official academic transcript and complete the OAT
Your Canadian university can mail your transcript directly to OzTREKK, or you can mail your transcript directly to OzTREKK, as long as it remains in its sealed envelope.
OzTREKK requires only one copy of your university transcript, even if you are applying to more than one Australian university.
You will also need to submit your OAT score report. Please contact Christine Chu, Optometry Admissions Officer at OzTREKK, for guidance on submitting your OAT results.

OzTREKK will confirm receipt of application
When OzTREKK receives your complete application, OzTREKK will:
- confirm that it has been submitted to your Australian university
- advise when an application outcome will be available
- provide you with exclusive login details to OzTREKK’s online Admissions and Pre-departure Centre, where you can check your application status 24/7
