The University of Queensland Master of Audiology Studies program allows students to acquire the scientific expertise and fundamental clinical skills required to become a professional audiologist.
The Master of Audiology Studies at UQ offers clinical placements at the outset of the program to ensure that its students are always developing the professional skills needed to succeed in a clinical setting. Concurrently, the University of Queensland has an excellent reputation for scientific research, and the Master of Audiology Studies is no exception. Students undertake scientific coursework at the graduate-level and increase their ability to conduct research as a scholar in a clinical setting. Students with an aptitude for scientific research will have the option of becoming a PhD candidate within the faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Queensland.
The Master of Audiology Studies at the University of Queensland adheres to the Professional Standards of Practice outlined by the Audiological Society of Australia and students are allowed to apply for membership with the organization upon graduation.

It is imperative that you understand the requirements and procedures associated with entering the audiology profession in Canada. It is your responsibility to meet the necessary requirements to become a member of the regulatory body in your province, if necessary. Currently in Canada, only seven provinces require mandatory registration with a regulatory body.
Every student who applies (and accepts) via OzTREKK and commences his/her studies at an OzTREKK Australian university will receive a $500 scholarship from OzTREKK.

There are 10 places available in the program each year for international students, including students from Canada. Offers will be made to applicants with the highest academic rank.
To be eligible to apply, you must havePlease note that the above criteria are minimum requirements. Entry is competitive and the selection process is based on grade point average (GPA).
Students who have not yet completed an undergraduate degree may apply, as long as they will have graduated prior to commencing UQ Master of Audiology Studies program.
