To become a professional architect in Australia, you can apply to continue to the University of Sydney's Master of Architecture after completing its Bachelor of Design in Architecture program. To be eligible to enrol in the Master of Architecture, Bachelor of Design in Architecture students must take a specific set of electives, commencing in third year of the bachelor degree, which are prerequisites for entry to the master program; have achieved a credit average in the bachelor degree; and, complete the Architectural Experience Requirement.

Bachelor of Design in Architecture/Master of Architecture (3 years + 2 years)
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil)/Bachelor of Design in Architecture (5 years)
Bachelor of Design Computing (3 years)
