Pre-departure Assistance
Once you have accepted an offer from an Australian university, you can attend an OzTREKK pre-departure information session in Canada. These sessions are designed to prepare you to study in Australia at your Australian university. We offer these in-person sessions across Canada, providing you with information about what to do before you leave Canada and about what happens when you arrive in Australia. You will also have the opportunity to meet other students from Canada who are also preparing to study in Australia!
Pre-departure information includes the Australian student visa process, accommodation and housing, Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), travel arrangements, banking and finances, and Australian lifestyle and culture.
OzTREKK students also gain exclusive access to OzTREKK's online login site, the Oz Boarding Pass Student Info Centre.
The OzTREKK login site allows you to check your application status online, and provides detailed pre-departure info to help you obtain your student visa, research your accommodation options, book airport arrival reception, reserve a spot at an OzTREKK pre-departure seminar in Canada, and more!
